COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY

This is a particular therapy approach which is strongly evidence based. This means research has shown it to be an effective therapy in reducing symptoms of a variety of mental health concerns.

  • Cognitive - refers to our thinking

  • Behavioural - refers to what we do 

 

A CBT approach will help you to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and your body to better understand how these play a part in your difficulties. Then together we will learn strategies to change this for the better.
